When traveling as a digital nomad, you aren’t just a holidaymaker staying in an area for a few days. You end up living and working there and after a while may even call it home. We’ve made Canggu, Bali our home many times as it is a digital nomad hub and have discovered some secret things to do you won’t necessarily find in the guidebooks.

Enjoy an Unlimited $3 Vegan Buffet

One of the best kept secrets in Canggu is the Dip & Doze Hostel vegan buffet. From 4pm everyday, head on over to the rooftop terrace of this modern hostel and enjoy an unlimited, delicious and high quality vegan buffet while looking over the rice terraces in Canggu. It only costs IDR 50k and is such a steal. Get some epic cocktails while you’re there and meet other nomads and backpackers from around the world!

Get a massage at your own villa

You heard right! No need to go anywhere. Simple order a massage therapist through the handy Gojek App and enjoy a hour long massage for only $7-$10.

Walk through a fridge into a Bar!

Canggu’s very own speakeasy. Drive down the Canggu shortcut with your mates and park near Pretty Poison. Then head to the Black Cat Mini Mart and casually open a beverages fridge door and find the secret passage to a hidden bar.

Very cool experience, cheap booze, quality music and a pool table – you can’t go wrong!

Visit a local market

There are a bunch of food and clothing market events that take place weekly in Canggu. Here are some to keep in mind:
