Why we love Cape Town
Hike up Table Mountain
Cape Town is based on the slopes of the epic Table Mountain range, officially dubbed as one of the 7 Wonders of Nature worldwide. For an easy climb, head up Lion's head at sunset for panoramic views and see Robben Island in the distance. For more experienced climbers, take on Table Mountain or simple head up in the Cable Car, not to be missed!
See the Big Five
Do you know what they are? Tick off seeing lions, rhinos, elephants, Cape buffalo and leopards off your bucket list. Not to mention giraffes, hippos and crocodiles - excited yet? Head to the closest game reserve two hours outside of Cape Town for your African safari experience or head up the Garden route if you have more time & visit Addo Elephant park.
Go vineyard hopping
Cape Town is one of the best wine destinations in the world with over 560 vineyards in the region. Located only 45 minuts outside the city centre you can explore multiple wine farms and go wine tasting. Visit Franschhoek to go on the iconic wine tram that takes you to different wine farms with a complimentary glass of champagne on board.
Visit the Southern tip of Africa
Take a drive down the south peninsula, only 30 minutes from the city centre and visit Cape Point - where the Atlantic & Indan oceans meet. Stop at Boulders Beach to chill with the penguins, stroll around Kalk Bay and look for antiques or head to Muizenburg and learn to surf. There's so much to do in and around Cape Town.
Coliving in Cape Town
Coliving is the best way to connect with other like-minded nomads. You get your own space while at the same time being able to share daily goals over coffee in the morning, take a swim break in the afternoon or cook together in the evenings. You'll never feel alone, but your personal time and work will always be respected. Where we've stayed before in Cape Town. We confirm our accommodation 3-4 months before start date.
Work/life balance is our game
We source suitable workspaces at the coliving or at a coworking space with high speed internet & a dedicated workspace so you stay super productive.

FAQ
Simply apply here to sign up for this retreat. The online application process takes less than a minute. We will then process your application and determine whether you would be a good fit for the retreat. Anyone who is a remote worker, freelancer or online entrepreneur who is enthusiastic to meet like-minded people and share their skills will get accepted.
We are extremely inclusive and accept digital nomads irrespective of age, gender, race or religion. We encourage diversity and love welcoming remote workers from all over the world.
We have limited spots on each retreat so best to get in early to avoid disappointment.
Yes, of course! As long as you are able to work remotely in some way while on the retreat we would love to have you on board. This is actually a great opportunity to jumpstart your digital nomad journey and start building your community.
YES! This is a coworking retreat meaning we will be continueing on with our day to day work. We generally do this at the coworking space or the villa. Some will head for lunch while others will get their hours in. Everyone has different schedules so it’s very flexible and none of our included activities are compulsary.
This is your opportunity to share your awesome skills with the group! We always find there are synergies within the group and you will be surprised how eager everyone is to learn what you know. If you’re up to, host a session teaching the group, or simply sit back and absorb all the info your fellow Wanderers have to share.
All the bedrooms are spacious and clean. There are private rooms (double) and shared twin) rooms, conveniently priced to suit your budget.
Once you book, you will be sent an onboarding survey to determine your preferences when determining who you share with. You can select ‘same gender’ or ‘doesn’t matter’ and we will randomly pair people together accordingly. Once you have arrived and you would like to switch rooms, you can arrange that amongst yourselves. If you would like to share a room with someone specifically you can let us know and we will pair you up.
Yes you can. You will share a double room and be able to split the cost as your partner will join for FREE. They will receive the entire retreat offering except for access to the co-working space which can be added on as an extra.
While we’d love to welcome kids, we unfortunately do not have the facilities to do this. If this becomes a popular request in the future we will look into it.
-Due to the unprecedented COVID-19 Pandemic, we have adjusted our refund policy which now reflects as the COVID-19 Flexibility policy. If the retreat has to be cancelled due to COVID-19 by Work Wanderers you will also get a full refund, right up until start date. See COVID-19 Flexibility Policy here.
